With a total GLA of approximately 51,587 m², the centre is anchored by Myer, Target, Big W and Coles and is the major shopping centre for the greater Geelong area. The property was originally developed by Perron Group and constructed between 1985 and 1988.
Westfield Geelong is located on the northern edge of the Geelong CBD and incorporates the façade of old wool stores along the frontages of Moorabool Street and Brougham Street. Geelong is Victoria’s largest provincial city, located approximately 75km south-west of the Melbourne CBD.
A 50% interest was sold to Westfield (now Scentre Group) in June 2003. Under the terms of the joint ownership agreement Scentre Group is responsible for management, leasing and development.
